Individual Therapy

Heal the patterns you’re tired of repeating.

Something brought you here. Maybe you've been carrying something heavy for a long time - anxiety that won't quiet down, grief that doesn't have a name, or a nagging feeling that the life you're living doesn't quite fit who you really are.

Maybe you've tried to push through it. To be okay. To figure it out on your own.

But here you are, and I'm really glad you showed up.

Individual therapy is a space that belongs entirely to you -no performing, no managing other people's feelings, no pretending. Just honest, deep work with someone who is genuinely invested in your healing.

What Working Together Looks Like

My approach to therapy is collaborative and relational. I won’t hand you a worksheet and send you home. We slow down, get curious about your story, and work together to understand where your patterns, pain, and ways of coping began, so you can start to choose something different.

My work is grounded in:

  • Relational Psychodynamic Therapy — exploring how your early experiences shaped your inner world and relationships

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) — a powerful, evidence-based approach for processing trauma

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) — understanding the different parts of you with compassion rather than judgment

  • Attachment Theory — healing the relational wounds that show up in how you connect with yourself and others

We move at your pace. There is no rush, no agenda you have to meet.

This Might Be For You If…

  • You feel anxious, overwhelmed, or like you're always waiting for the other shoe to drop

  • You struggle with people-pleasing, boundaries, or putting everyone else's needs before your own

  • You're navigating a major life transition: a shift in identity, relationships, career, or faith

  • You've experienced trauma and are ready (in your own time) to begin healing

  • You're questioning who you are outside of the roles and expectations that have defined you

  • You just know something needs to change, even if you can't name exactly what

Many of my clients come in for anxiety or identity confusion and discover that religious or spiritual wounds are quietly at the root.

You don't need to arrive with a diagnosis or a clear story. You just need to show up.

This Might NOT Be For You If…

I want you to land with the right therapist, even if that’s not me. This kind of therapy may NOT be a fit if you:

  • Prefer or need short-term, skills-only therapy

  • Want fast results without exploring deeper roots

  • Are looking for highly structured homework-based treatment

  • Want a directive coaching style rather than internal exploration

  • Need crisis-level or a higher level of care

  • Are not interested in trauma or parts-based work

If you’re unsure, that’s okay! We can talk through it during a consultation.

You Are Safe Here

My practice is a judgment-free space for women and gender-nonconforming adults. I am a queer therapist and deeply affirming of all identities, including LGBTQIA+ folks, those in non-monogamous relationships, and kink communities.

Ready to begin? I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can get a feel for whether we're a good fit. There's no pressure — just a conversation.

FAQs

What can I expect in our first session?

The first session is really about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what's bringing you in, a bit about your history, and what you're hoping for. There's no pressure to share everything at once - we build trust over time.

How long does therapy take?

That depends entirely on you and what you're working through. Some clients find meaningful change in a few months; others choose to work together for a year or more. We'll regularly check in about how things are going and whether the pace and approach feel right.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

Currently, all sessions take place online. I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions for clients in Arizona and Washington state.
